Agony of de feets.

First gout, now bunions.
My poor feet, why have you forsaken me?

I'm back!

After over a month of shattered lungs, broken feet and fading goals, I'm back and recommitting myself both to myself and this blog. I'm going to expand it a bit to include fitness as well as food (who start another blog when I can spew my fitness adventures right here!)

Even though I've been getting -0- exercise, I have been maintaining my calorie goals: 1800-2000 calories/day, so I've still been losing weight, albeit much slower than before. Official weigh in this morning had me at 274, which put me somewhere around 60lbs down so far. I've another 74 to get to my goal weight.

So, here I am, back and raring to go (I just got home from a great bike ride..more on that later).

Wow..it's been 2 weeks since I've updated anything here. It has been a hell of a time; I've been sick, I've been crazed, I've been overwhelmed and most recently, I've been injured, but I'm still here, hobbling about on my stumps.

Things of note:

- I've officially hit the 50lb mark. Even with no cardio for three weeks (see above), the weight loss has been progressing, slowly but forward.

- The dolmas need to be cooked no matter what the recipe says.

- My stomach is back even with my chest.

- Salt is still the enemy, but it's SOOO damned good.

- I'm wearing clothes that last fit in 2005, and they are getting more and more loose every day.

I've got some great recipes to share, and a couple of awful ones too. More later.
